JAKE NEEDS A SUPERMOTO SPONSOR!

Jake is in need of a sponsor. Like all kids, he has grown like a weed and no longer fits into his leathers. Well, new leathers are $700 and that's just not in the family budget right now. Jake absolutely loves riding supermoto and we want him to be as protected and safe as possible. But without leathers, he just can't race anymore.

So, we really hope that the right person comes across this blog and this post. There will be room on the leathers, his bike, our pick-up truck and trailer for sponsorship advertising! Thank you for taking the time to stop by Jake's blog.

Muddiest Race Yet!

On February 22nd, Jake competed in another MotoX Kidz race in Lake Elsinore. We had been having rain on and off for the last 2 weeks and the track conditions were terrible.

Jake was a real tropper and gave it 110%.

I think Jake was the only kid to get thru the last turn before the finish line on all the laps WITHOUT falling down. Here is a pic that shows just how deep the ruts were and how large the dirt clods were all around.

Jake's Lastest Sport

Jake has decided to try Little League Baseball. Opening Day is on March 7th and he is having lots of fun at practices so far. He is in the Single A division and on the Angels. The kids are all 7 and 8 years old and Jake is the tallest on the team. He is hoping to play 1st base.

The kids all took individual and team photos today. They looked so official in their full uniforms.

We'll keep everyone updated once the season starts. GO ANGELS!!!

Thanksgiving Trip!

Our Thanksgiving weekend riding trip didn't start out completely as planned. Jake caught the stomach bug I had earlier that week and woke up on Thanksgiving at 3 AM with a stomach ache. Well, he was feeling much better by Friday morning, so off to the desert Jake and I went to meet up with David and our friends.

Jake spent most of the way up telling how much he loves riding with his friends Sammie and Tessa. He couldn't wait to get there.

The kids all seem to have a great time and constantly asked to go for trail rides. Just as one said they were tired and wanted to rest, another was ready to ride!

Jake and Sammie seem to have a little "connection" going on. It is very fun to watch them together. Here is a pic of the two of them after a long day of riding.

Trackday Practice

This morning we took Jake out to the Motocross track to practice. This was his first time riding the track on his new Supermoto wheels and tires.

He did great! As you can see in his picture, he got full air on the tabletop jump.

Jake got his green belt!

Tonight Jake had his graduation at Karate. He is now a green belt! He did great and has been working hard to perfect his form.

One of the highlights of graduation is breaking a board. Every kid gets to try and then bring the board, well it's pieces, home. Here is Jake as he broke his board with an elbow strike.
